Trail Construction Begins in Freedom Park

Work to construct a 6-foot sidewalk from Pebble Court to Jones Boulevard and add storm water accommodations in Freedom Park, 645 Pebble Court in North Liberty, begins the week of June 9, 2025. The project will remove the current sidewalk stub from Pebble Court.

The project is expected to last through July, with permanent seeding in late August.

As the project progresses, there will be times when work to cut fresh concrete may occur in the evening or early morning because the timing of these control joints is critical to avoid structural damage and uncontrolled cracking. The contractor, J&L Construction, is required to notify the City in advance of these cuts.
