Ramp Closure: Interstate 380 Southbound Ramp at Penn Street

The Iowa Department of Transportation announced that beginning Tuesday, July 1, the Interstate-380 to Penn Street southbound ramp is anticipated to close for up to three months to allow for reconstruction. During the closure, southbound ramp traffic will be detoured south on Interstate 380 to the Forevergreen Road exit and back northbound.

The Iowa Department of Transportation, who is responsible for the work, is providing resources to help the public navigate during this project:

• A website for the I-380 corridor reconstruction

Drivers should use caution around the work site, expect delays and allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible.
