Fall leaf collection runs Oct. 11 to Nov. 19

Fall leaf collection is scheduled to start Monday, Oct. 11, 2021 and run through Friday, Nov. 19. Leaves will be picked up curbside if at the curb by 7 a.m. that Friday.

To have your leaves collected, rake them within two feet of the public street by 7 a.m. on each Monday. Crews will collect them by Friday, though collection can be delayed at the season’s peak.

BASP Recreation Councilors

Councilors supervise children for City of North Liberty’s before and after school programs, working directly with children to lead games, activities, arts and crafts. Positions are part-time (10 to 30 hours weekly), and we’ll work around your schedule. Light cleaning duties are involved as well. Must be able to obtain a chauffeur’s license. Post-offer physical, drug screen and background check required. Applicants must be 16 years or older.

Scheduled hours include weekdays from 6:45 to 8:45 a.m., 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, as 1:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursdays, as well as during other youth programs. Starting wage is $12 per hour, paid every-other week.
