Upcoming events will be announced in waves throughout the year. Full details for each event will be linked below in the weeks leading up to each program.
Sept 13: Movie on the Plaza
Join us for a Movie on the Plaza — the first event hosted on the plaza and lawn outside new City Hall! On Friday, Sept. 13, experience all new emotions along with Riley during a showing of Disney’s 2024 hit Inside Out 2. Attendees can arrive anytime after 7 p.m., with Inside Out 2 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The film will end around 9 p.m.
Oct 11: Halloween Trail
Halloween descends on Liberty Centre. Bring your friendly ghouls for treats and candy around trail as friendly ghosts guide you along the way. Costumes are welcome and encouraged.
Tuesdays in November: Golden Turkey Hunt
Use a set of clues to locate four golden turkeys hidden around North Liberty. Each Tuesday in November, a new turkey will be hidden and a new clue will drop to those subscribed to our special event emails. All turkeys will be on public land. Find a turkey and win a prize package.
Dec 7: Breakfast with Santa
Visit and capture a photo with Santa , meet the Grinch, enjoy a hot meal from the Lions Club, admire a model train and Christmas village and shop the holiday vendor fair next door. Space is limited for this event at the North Liberty Community Center. Free registration will open one month out from the event on Thursday, Nov. 7.
