Liberty Centre Neighborhood

Liberty Centre is located at the center of town and can be accessed from the main thoroughfare, Ranshaw Way, or from Penn St, Jones Blvd or Zeller St. It is home to over 575 households and is in the Iowa City Community School District. Residents have walking access to several businesses, restaurants and Liberty Centre Park. The park includes a stocked pond for fishing, a perimeter trail, and a resident guard-goose, who claims the pond’s dock as its home each spring.

Residents of Liberty Centre are invited to connect with their neighbors on Nextdoor.

Neighborhood Ambassadors

Neighborhood Ambassadors are residents who have volunteered to help navigate their neighbors’ questions and coordinate activities to connect residents of their neighborhood to each other and to the greater community.
