RFP: North Liberty Police Facility

RFP Overview

The Contract provides for, but is not limited to, the necessary work needed to complete the project in accordance with the design intent conveyed in the contract documents. The project involving new construction of a single-story structure of approximately 16,000 square feet, and the associated sitework, generally consists of a concrete slab-on-grade, steel frame, masonry exterior, and drywall on metal stud interior walls; grading, utilities, paving and curbs for the site.

Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of North Liberty, Iowa, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities or irregularities therein.  No bid may be altered, withdrawn, or resubmitted within sixty (60) days from and after the date set for opening of bids.  Each bidder shall take into consideration the number of days for completion of the project as specified in the Proposal.

There is a pre-bid conference at 2:00 pm, September 13, 2018, at North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle.

Sept. 27, 2018, 2 p.m.:  Bids due and publicly opened and read aloud

Contract documents, including plans and specifications will be available after Sept. 4, 2018. All Bidders may log on to view this project at www.rapidsreproplanroom.com. Once Bidders have registered and are logged on, Bidders can access bidding documents at no charge. Submission Information

Sealed Bids for the construction of the North Liberty Police Facility will be received, by the City of North Liberty, at North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle, until 2:00 p.m. local time on September 27, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
