Reopenings, and New Closure, on Highway 965

As construction on Highway 965 progresses, Ashley Court and Lions Drive reopen, Hawkeye Drive intersection goes to one lane.

Continued construction on Highway 965 in North Liberty will mean the reopening of two intersections and a partial closing of another. Ashley Court is scheduled to reopen before the end of the day on Thursday, Sept. 30, and Lions Drive is schedule to reopen by the end of the day on Saturday, Oct. 2.

As widening of the Hawkeye Drive intersection begins, traffic will be able to turn off of Highway 965 onto Hawkeye to allow access to Gasby’s and other businesses along the street.

Vehicles will not be able to access Highway 965 from Hawkeye Drive directly during construction, however. Instead, traffic needing to access the highway will be redirected south to Lions Drive. Traffic will continue to be able to travel north and south on Hawkeye Drive during construction.
