The North Liberty Community Relations Department is the community’s connection to your city government, dedicated to providing information, engagement and outreach in North Liberty. It operates the City of North Liberty’s website, local-access video channel and social media, organizes special events, and works with non-profit and community groups.
Special Events and Community Engagement
Annually, the department helps organize North Liberty Blues & BBQ, Beat the Bitter, City Slate and other community-focused events where you can meet your neighbors and have a good time, as well as providing support to other community-building events.
The City of North Liberty’s website (you’re looking at it) gives residents the chance to get the latest news from the city, contact officials, find public meeting agendas and minutes, learn about city projects and services and get essential community information. You can also watch video online including all our live coverage of all public meetings. North Liberty’s website is also a great way to give feedback to city staff and elected officials.

Get Your Message Out
We can help your non-profit organization get exposure by creating videos documenting your services and mission, working with you on social media campaigns, or highlighting cool things you’re doing in a newsletter. We’ve worked with the North Liberty Community Pantry, the Community Foundation of Johnson County, United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties and other groups to promote community-building.
North Liberty Television
Programming includes City Council and other public meetings, as well as informational videos about city services, events and development. NLTV staff cover many local events and provide regular video updates from city departments.
