City Slate
North Liberty’s City Slate is a collection of special events planned by city staff. There’s always something free and fun to do in North Liberty.
Library
The Library plans a wide variety of activities, classes and events with something for everyone including baby story times, teen events and senior programming.
Recreation
The Rec Center offers a variety of events, classes and leagues, offering both free and low cost options.
Senior Connections
Each Friday of the month, North Liberty Senior Connections Lunch gives seniors (55+) a chance to get together for lunch and socialization.

January
Fall in love with winter again at Fire & Ice, a free festival including ice sculptures, fire performances, ice skating, fireworks and more.
Street Dance

We close down Dubuque Street for a community block party next to City Hall with live music, dancing, beverages, food trucks and games.
Halloween Trail
October
Start the season off right with Trick-or-Treating around Liberty Centre Pond to hunt up some free fun on a Halloween Trail.
Breakfast with Santa
December
Enjoy a hot breakfast, share your Christmas wishes with Santa, and capture a holiday family photo at this family favorite event.

Movies on the Plaza at City Hall, sponsored by the Community Foundation of Johnson County.
