Lines to be painted on Highway 965 this weekend

April 21, 2011 — The faint remaining street lines on Highway 965 are scheduled to be removed today and Friday. Painting of new, permanent stripes could begin as early as tomorrow and conclude on Saturday. The lines will be repainted from Forevergreen to Fairview. No road closures or detours are anticipated.
City Administrator Ryan Heiar says, “We have been waiting for weather warm enough to get the lines painted. We are glad to be moving forward with this project, as we’ve received calls from concerned drivers. These lines will last longer than regular paint. We encourage everyone to drive safely and to be courteous to the road workers.”
