New Closures Coming Soon

It’s going to be a busy week this week in terms of road closures.
If you have kept up with this blog, you’ll know that a section of Jones Boulevard,  just south of  Penn Street to Liberty Way, was supposed to close about three weeks ago.  Due to a delay by a utility company, that closure never happened.  Well, tomorrow, after the rush (approximately 9 a.m.), that section of Jones Boulevard will close.  It will be closed for about a month.  So, you should be able to use Jones on the way to work tomorrow; however, on your way home you will not be able to turn on to Jones Boulevard from Penn Street.
On Tuesday, St. Andrews Drive will close, from Jones Boulevard to Kansas Avenue.  This is a long stretch of road and it will be down for about a month also.  With the school out of session for the year, this closure will have less impact than usual.  Nonetheless, the closure will cause inconvenience for some and we will do our best to keep work moving in that area and open the road quickly.
