Good Neighbor Meeting: Liberty View Subdivision and Liberty Medical and Commerce Subdivision
June 16, 2011 – There will be a good neighbor meeting June 30, 2011 from 6-6:30pm at the Administrative Office Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle. The City may soon consider a rezoning for property east of Highway 380, just north of St. Andrews Drive/270th Street NE. All are invited to an open house-style meeting being held to explain the proposal. A rezoning is being considered to change from the current RM-21 Multi-Family residential district to a combination of Office Research Park and Commercial districts.
A copy of this memo is being sent to property owners within 200 feet of the proposed rezoning. This good neighbor meeting is being held to explain the potential rezoning being considered by the owner, and to gather any comments regarding those actions. No Planning Commission or City Council action has been taken, but is anticipated within the next several months. Note that this meeting is intended to notify everyone early in the process and to help the developer understand neighborhood concerns, and other formal public meetings will be held by the Planning Commission and City Council if the development applications proceed.
Please feel free to drop into the good neighbor meeting on
June 30 from 6-6:30pm at Administrative Office Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle.
There will not be a formal meeting or presentation; instead, city staff and the developer will be available for informal open-house discussions with maps and information regarding the proposal.
