On Monday, Sept. 23, city workers will collect tree limbs downed in Thursday night’s high winds. Residents need to cut limbs into lengths no longer than 5 feet and place them between the sidewalk and the street by 7 a.m. to be collected.
The city’s weather station, located at Jones Boulevard and Penn Street, measured wind gusts up to 73 miles per hour around 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 19.
