Halloween trick-or-treating in North Liberty
Halloween is already just around the corner (boy, that’s scary), so we’re getting the annually oft-asked question:
When is trick-or-treating?
It’s on Halloween, Oct. 31, from 5 to 8 p.m. Remember to only knock on doors at houses that have their outdoor lights on and be safe.
Trick-or-Treat at the North Liberty Fire Station
North Liberty Fire Department will be hosting its annual Halloween party at the station, 25 W Cherry Street, and the public is invited to join the department for an evening of fun. Between 5 and 8:30 p.m., the public can stop at the fire station for hot chocolate, juice, candy and a treat of your choice! NLFD hosts this event annually to provide a safe, dry place for children to treat or treat.
Don’t forget Haunted Happenings
The Recreation Center and the North Liberty Optimists Club host the annual Haunted Happenings at the Community Center, 520 W Cherry St., on Thursday, Oct. 24 and Friday, Oct. 25, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The event costs $5 per participant at the door, no pre-registration required, and offers a tunnel, mazes, carnival games and fun! Come in costume and have a great night!
