Updated: Disruptions expected October 29 and November 4 on Highway 965

Road-construction-Highway-965Disruptions to traffic on Highway 965 are expected while workers complete various projects at three  intersections on Tuesday, Oct. 29, and Thursday, Oct. 31, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
On Tuesday, equipment controlling the traffic signals at Highway 965 and Westwood Drive will be replaced. The work will begin after 8:30 a.m. and will require the traffic lights be taken off line. The work should be complete by 4 p.m. While work is being completed, the intersections will temporarily be controlled by a four-way stop.
Similar work will take place on Thursday at the intersection of Highway 965 and Zeller Street. This work has been postponed until Monday, Nov. 4 due to weather. Again, the intersection will be controlled by a four-way stop while work is completed between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Additionally, a traffic sensor at the intersection of Highway 965 and Ashley Court will be replaced on Tuesday and Thursday as time allows.
During this work, drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time or find alternative routes.
