North Liberty hosts a free bike rodeo

The North Liberty Police Department hopes to help kids entering kindergarten through eighth grade get off to a safe start this summer by hosting a free bike rodeo on Friday, June 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. in Penn Landing, 620 Pacha Parkway, just off Penn Street.
A bike rodeo is a non-competitive, fun event for kids. During the rodeo, kids will learn bike safety tips while cruising on a course set up to teach them important bike skills. Free bike helmets will be available while supplies last. Sugar Bottom Bikes will be on hand offering free bike inspections.
Pre-registration isn’t required, but those participants who do will receive a treat from Molly’s Cupcakes or Yotopia Frozen Yogurt. To register, simply complete the online registration form.
