North Liberty’s indoor pool closed

North Liberty’s indoor pool has been closed due to broken glass in water. The outdoor pool is unaffected and will remain open its normal operating hours.
Meanwhile, the indoor pool will be drained, cleaned and inspected for additional shards of glass, as required by public health code. The pool will then be refilled with water and prepared for swimmers. The indoor pool is expected to reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1.
