We're looking for a communications specialist

The city’s communications department is looking for a new member (technically a full-time “communications specialist”).
This position is responsible for video production and photography, event planning, community outreach and other communications functions. Good candidates are creative self-starters with a passion for the community. We run the city’s cable channel, website, social media, print and outreach and our team has the opportunity and expectation to pursue projects that show off, improve and serve North Liberty and its community. We require a bachelor’s degree or higher in communications or a related field, and candidates must be available to work some nights and weekends. You can find the job description here. Salary range $36,067 to $38,729, dependent on qualifications, and we offer competitive benefits.
