An outdoor double feature!

On Friday, Sept. 12, the North Liberty Community Library will team up with North Liberty Blues & BBQ to present a film-and-fireworks double feature in Penn Meadows Park.
The event will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the expanded library’s grand re-opening. Seating for the movie, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids starring Rick Moranis, will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the movie beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks, presented by the Eastern Iowa Airport, will follow at 9:30 p.m.
Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic to the park. Food will also be available to purchase. No pets, alcohol or smoking will be allowed at the event.
