North Liberty is the “perfect” place for Kinze Manufacturing’s new office

Kinze Manufacturing, a farm implement company based in Williamsburg, opened a new office in North Liberty in December. The office is a dedicated software engineering center to develop new technologies and software support for the company’s leading-edge planter, grain cart and autonomy-driven product lines.

Susan Veatch, vice president at Kinze said of North Liberty:

The North Liberty site is a perfect location for several reasons. It’s easily commutable from the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City metro areas. Both have large populations of highly skilled labor. We also like the close proximity to the University of Iowa for recruiting college graduates and to our own corporate campus, here in Williamsburg.

The center is currently home to five engineers, with another 15 to be added in the near future.
