Eastside Utilities update for March 16 to March 20, 2015

The intent of this weekly update is to give an overview of work completed and a projection of work in the following week. It is intended to be a general overview and be tentative in nature. Things may differ from the listed schedule if weather or other unknown factors come into play.
Weekly Overview
- Contractor continued with clearing of trees in the construction limits and marked trees to be protected. Clearing was done on the west and east sides of Naples Avenue and also along Dubuque
Street. - Trees were stockpiled to be chipped next week.
- Temporary creek crossings were installed to allow contractor to move equipment.
What to expect March 23 to March 27
- Langman will continue tree removals along the Scanlon property east of North Liberty Drive (north of the high school) near the pump station site.
- Once trees are removed, Langman will stockpile tree materials near the Wastewater Treatment Plant. These trees will be chipped and used as mulch on the project.
- They plan to complete all the tree removals prior to March 31, 2015 according to IDNR guidelines.
- As soon as the ground thaws, they will install silt fence for erosion control.
