Friends support an innovative library with a book sale starting June 11

North-Liberty-Community-Library-logoAs part of the Friends of the North Liberty Community Library’s annual fundraiser, the group is hosting a book sale at the library on June 11, 12 and 13 during the library’s regular hours.
“If you’ve visited recently, you know how busy and active the expanded and renovated library is on a daily basis,” said Donna Hallett, president of the Friends of the North Liberty Community Library. “And you’ve witnessed firsthand the innovative new services and programming occurring each day with a staff committed to providing patrons with friendly, quality service.”
The book sale includes hundreds of books for all ages, mostly fiction. Paperbacks are priced at $.50, hardbacks at $1. If you simply can’t get enough, you can fill a bag with books for just $10.
As an added incentive, patrons who have contributed to the Friends of the North Liberty Community Library in 2015 can shop a day early, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10.
Patrons who haven’t given in 2015 can make a contribution at the library’s information desk for sneak-peek access or shop from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 12, or from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 13.
