Liberty High School construction to impact Dubuque Street Trail

From the Iowa City Community School District, concerning work on Liberty High School, located between North Liberty Road and 275th Street:
The portion of the bike/walking trail running along Dubuque Street in front of the future Liberty High School site will be closed beginning Monday, June 1st and remain closed through August 31st. The general contractor of the Liberty High School construction project, McComas Lacina, will place a barricade & “Trail Closed” sign at each end of the trail. Removal of the existing trail paving will begin immediately after placing the signs.
