Free fishing draws crowds to Liberty Centre

Liberty Centre Pond saw heavy crowds the last couple days thanks to Iowa’s Free Fishing Weekend. Each year during the first weekend in June, any state resident is able to fish for free without a license. The Iowa DNR and TAKO (Take A Kid Outdoors) teamed up with other local sponsors to help families get the most out of their free fishing weekend in North Liberty.
