On the morning of July 20, 2015, North Liberty squad car was involved in a collision while officers assisted other law enforcement agencies.
The car was unoccupied and on the shoulder of Interstate 380.
“Fortunately, an officer was not injured in the crash,” said Chief Diane Venenga. The Iowa State Patrol is still investigate the crash.
