Waste water treatment expansion project update

Construction on the expansion of the city’s waste water treatment plant is underway. The project will update and expand the facility’s buildings and intake capacity as the city continues to grow, allowing service for more than 25,000 residents.  The project’s completion is set for 2017. Assistant Waste Water Superintendent Drew Lammers explains the finer details of the expansion and what to expect as the project moves forward.
