Halloween fun descends on North Liberty
This week brings Halloween fun to North Liberty, with the city hosting a variety of events:
The recreation department’s Haunted Happenings is scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 29, and Friday, Oct. 30, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The annual event features tunnels, mazes, games and fun, with the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile scheduled to be onsite Friday. Snacks, drinks and candy will be provided. Admission is $2 per child at the door either night.
The North Liberty Community Library hosts its Halloween party for tots on Friday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. with city staff will participate in a Trunk or Treat starting at 10:30 a.m. in the south Community Center parking lot.
The North Liberty Fire Department is hosting its third annual Halloween Bash on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the fire station, 25 W Cherry Street. The bash will feature a photo booth along with cookies, hot and cold beverages, and, of course, candy. The department’s trucks will also be on display.
Trick or Treating is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31.
