North Liberty youth can Shop with a Cop

Next month, officers of the North Liberty Police Department are taking local youth holiday shopping for the kids’ families as part of Shop with a Cop program. This is inaugural year of the department’s program.
The Shop with a Cop program works to build positive relationships between local law enforcement and the community it serves by inviting children, ages 10 to 14 years old and attending school in North Liberty, to shop with officers on Dec. 15, 2015.
Funding for the program comes from donations made during No Shave November.
To apply to the program, an adult should complete the application, available here, on behalf of a child and submit it to the NLPD by Nov. 18, 2015.
