Police violate department policy for a third year

This month, North Liberty’s police officers will have a short reprieve from the department’s strict no-beards-in-uniform policy. Participating officers will make donations to the department’s inaugural Shop with a Cop program.
This is the third year the department has eased its policy on facial hair to participate in No Shave November. The department won’t forgo all shaving; participants are limited to a tidy goatee.
