Road closure: North Liberty Road from Oak Lane to N Juniper Street

Beginning Monday, April 3, weather permitting, E. Penn Street/North Liberty Road will be closed to traffic so crews can regrade the road bed for improved sight lines, improve the shoulder and prepare for future trail and sidewalk additions, and realign the road’s curve for improved safety. Work is expected to last through the fall.

Traffic on E. Penn Street and North Liberty Road will be detoured to N. Juniper and Dubuque streets, but residents along the construction will have access to throughout the project.

Drivers are asked to use caution around the work site, allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible. Details and updates on this and other North Liberty construction projects are available at northlibertyiowa.org/projects.
