Lane reduction: Penn Street between Dubuque and Front streets

Beginning Friday, Aug. 4, crews from Central Iowa Power Cooperative, or CIPCO, will reduce Penn Street to a single lane between Dubuque and Front streets daily between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. This reduction is necessary to allow the installation of new utility poles. The work is expected to last though next week.
Drivers are asked to use caution around the work site, allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible.
