Community Center Adjusts Facility Hours and Activities Due to Cold Weather

Due to weather, the North Liberty Recreation Department will adjust its hours and programming as follows:

On Tuesday, Jan. 29, the Community Center, including aquatics, will be open for normal hours until 9 p.m. Swimming lessons will not be held, but other on-site programs will be hosted as scheduled. Programming at school sites is canceled.

On Wednesday, Jan. 30, recreation and aquatics facilities will have reduced hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Swimming lessons and all programs and activities, including those at school sites, are canceled. The Community Library will open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.

On Thursday, Jan. 31, recreation and aquatics facilities will open late, at 8 a.m. and remain open through their normal closing time of 9 p.m. All activities and programs, including swim lessons and off-site activities, are as scheduled.

On Friday, Feb. 1, the facility will be open regular hours, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and all programs and activities on as scheduled.
