Recsters Holiday Camp Deadline Approaching

Looking for a place for your kids while schools out the next couple weeks? Consider the Recsters Holiday Camp. The registration deadline is rapidly approaching.

For $50 a day, kids kindergarten through sixth grade get a full day of activities, with special trips planned daily. The camp will be held Dec. 23, 26, 27 and 30 and Jan. 2 and 3. Registration deadline is 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18. To register, stop by the Recreation Department’s front desk or call (319) 626-5716.

Kids should bring a snack and lunch each day, as well as warm outdoor clothes and swimming gear. Admission for field trips is included. This year’s trips include a movie at Coral Ridge Mall, a visit to the Iowa Children’s Museum, a Panchero’s Bar, ice skating at Coral Ridge Mall, a visit to the Playstation in Cedar Rapids and Pizza Ranch (and Fun Zone) in Iowa City.
