Update: Elizabeth has been located safely.
The North Liberty Police Department, along with the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office, is asking the public with assistance in locating a runaway juvenile. Elizabeth J.C. Howard, 17 years old, was last seen in Tipton, Iowa, on Sunday March 7 at approximately 7 p.m. Elizabeth, a resident of North Liberty, may possibly be in the Cedar Rapids area. Anyone with information of Elizabeth’s whereabouts is asked to contact the North Liberty Police Department at (319) 356-6800 or the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office at (563) 886-2121.
