City Hall Moved at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has relocated to 360 N. Main St., adjacent to the North Liberty Police Station.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

Make it Mondays: Paper Snakes

The North Liberty Recreation Department’s Make It Monday craft this week is a paper snakes. Included in this week’s kit are all the materials you need to make the craft (you should provide glue and scissors), coloring sheets and activity ideas.

Each week, Make It Monday offers a free to-go activity for kids. To participate in the program, simply stop by the North Liberty Community Center, 520 W. Cherry Street, and pick up an activity kit while supplies last. Kits are free.

How to Make It

Materials

  • Paper
  • Eyes
  • Glue
  • Paint
  • Markers

Steps

  1. Cut strip of paper to have be tapered on each end
  2. Color with stipes and snake markers
  3. Cut red paper to resemble a snake tongue
  4. Glue eyes on to snake head
  5. Twist body of the snake
  6. Enjoy!
