North Liberty Library Unveils Permanent StoryWalk

The North Liberty Library will unveil a permanent StoryWalk® located at Liberty Centre Pond, 820 W Cherry St., with a special Storytime and celebration on Wednesday, September 28 at 10:30 a.m.

“We are excited to support literacy in North Liberty,” said Jennifer Roberts of Veridian Credit Union. “This StoryWalk project provides children — and adults — a fun way to explore their community, and an engaging discovery to read.”

Preschoolers and their grownups are invited to see the new StoryWalk®, hear a reading of the first featured story, and enjoy light refreshments.

The permanent StoryWalk® has been made possible by the generous support from Veridian Credit Union and installed by the City of North Liberty’s Parks Department.

StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and has developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, formerly of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
