Good Neighbor Meeting: Property North of Berkshire Lane and West of Greenbelt Trail
Update: As there was no public attendance this meeting was concluded without presentation.
Scanlon Family, LLC has submitted a zoning map amendment (rezoning) and preliminary subdivision plat on 5.28 acres of property located at the north side of Berkshire Lane as extended westerly 85’ from its current terminus in Greenbelt Trail, Part 2 Subdivision. The rezoning would be from RS-6 Single-Unit Residence District to RD-10 Two-Unit Residence District and the preliminary subdivision plat would arrange the lots and infrastructure.
No formal staff review of the proposed rezoning has been completed, nor have Planning Commission or City Council considered the request. It is anticipated that this request will be considered at the November 1, 2022 Planning Commission meeting.
Please visit Planning and Zoning to view upcoming agendas and meeting information.
Good neighbor meetings are intended to allow an applicant to share the details of the application, answer questions, and receive feedback prior to formal consideration by the Planning Commission. Initially, the applicant will provide a brief description of the request. Thereafter, there will be an opportunity to answer any questions and/or voice concerns. City staff will be present to moderate and answer any procedural questions.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact Ryan Rusnak, Planning Director, directly at (319) 626-5747 or [email protected]. He will be able to answer any questions and/or make note of any concerns.
