RAGBRAI to Impact Area Roads

While RAGBRAI isn’t returning to North Liberty this year, we expect some impacts to area traffic on Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30.

With Coralville hosting RAGBRAI, the famous trans-Iowa bike ride, overnight on July 29, 12th Avenue between Forevergreen Road and Highway 6 is expected to be very congested with RAGBRAI RV traffic, shuttles, and bicycle riders. While the road will remain open, drivers are strongly encouraged to seek alternative routes to avoid the area.

In addition to bringing entertainment for Coralville’s RAGBRAI overnight, the community’s committee is also seeking volunteers to help with all aspects of the stay.
