The North Liberty Library and Johnson County Libraries are proud to host author Diana Goetsch, author of This Body I Wore. This Body I Wore, hailed as “achingly beautiful” by The New York Times Book Review, chronicles the budding trans communities of the late 20th century, and the light it sheds on today’s struggle for trans equality. Reading/talk followed by Q&A discussion.

North Liberty Rec Center – Classrooms 3 & 4 

Since we had Yang Chow Wok last week, we’ll be having Mirabito’s this week! We will also have Kellee Forkenbrock from the Library to lead a chair yoga activity after lunch! Registration for lunch just $5 and is required for all who attend. Participants must register before noon on Thursday, July 27th. Ranshaw House Concert Series 

Fridays in June and July 

6 PM – 8 PM 

Ranshaw House Lawn, 515 Community Dr. North Liberty 

We are down to our last concert of the summer, so if you haven’t been out to the Ranshaw lawn yet for this fun community event, this is your chance! Bring some lawn chairs, a blanket, and some picnic food. Come chat with old friends or make some new ones. Bask in the setting sunlight or cool down in the shade of the house, all while listening to fantastic music!
