Fresh Conversations is a free nutrition and physical education program for ages 60+! The program offers practical tips and sensible solutions to everyday problems that get in the way of doing what most people want to do: eat well and live well. Fresh Conversations is also an opportunity to connect with other adults for a friendly group discussion! Contact Cindy or Emma with questions at 319-892-6081.

The first Friday of August is already upon us so that means Hy Vee will be catering! They are scheduled to bring us pork loin slices, roasted red potatoes, and veggies (but all meals are subject to change). After lunch we will be having a few rounds of BINGO! Registration for lunch just $5 and is required for all who attend. Participants must register before noon on Thursday, August 3rd. Friends of the Coralville Public Library Book Sale

Come out for a Friends of the Coralville Public Library Book Sale! Find a selection of fiction, non-fiction, CDs, and DVDs. No prices. It’s a pay what you want, free will donation sale! Are you a Friends member? Friends get in an hour early, at 10:00 am, on Friday. The Friends of the Coralville Public Library is a non-profit that supports the Coralville Public Library and literary programs in the community.
Donor Dash 5k Fun Run and Walk

The Donor Dash 5K Fun Run and Walk honors those who have given the gift of life, celebrates the lives of organ and tissue recipients, and recognizes those who continue to wait for a lifesaving transplant. This is a family friendly event so no matter your skill level the DONOR DASH is open to everyone. Honor and support those who have been impacted by organ, eye and tissue donation and wear your best GREEN + BLUE apparel to celebrate the gift of life! Over 106,000 men, women and children are waiting for an organ transplant in the US right now. 600 of those waiting live in Iowa. Be a part of a community that is determined to end the wait!
DIY Night at the Solon Library – Watermelon Tea Towels

A night of learning and creating. Each month participants learn a new skills, try new techniques, and have a great time while interacting with other adults. DIY night meets the second Tuesday of every month from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Come try a new thing! This month we’re using sponge stamps to add some color to the kitchen and make drying the dishes more fun. These watermelon tea towels are perfect for summer! Registration required. Register here!
