Noise Expected at Well Site Due to Repair and Maintenance

Recently, North Liberty’s Well 8, located at 920 W Zeller St., was manually scrubbed and treated for repair and maintenance. Before the well can be returned to service producing water for our municipal system, the remaining liquid needs to be pumped out using a temporary pump and generator. This generator is louder than the permanent equipment.

This generator will run into the evening hours, but is expected to be complete by the evening of Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023. While additional maintained will follow, it will use the permanent equipment.
