Oral History Week
July 8 – 11
At the North Liberty Library, we believe every person’s story is a precious thread in our community’s tapestry. We invite you to participate in our oral history project using the renowned StoryCorps format to capture authentic voices and lived experiences. Through these recorded conversations, we aim to uncover diverse stories that have shaped our community’s identity. Your unique perspective, whether as a lifelong resident or newcomer, holds immense value in painting our shared past, present, and future. By sharing your story, you preserve your legacy and inspire others to embrace their narratives, creating a digital archive celebrating our diversity and heritage. Sign up for a time slot here.
