Set Up an Appointment with a SHIIP Counselor

The Medicare Open Enrollment Period is October 15 to December 7. This is when people with Medicare can change their prescription drug plans or Medicare Advantage plans for the upcoming calendar year to better meet their needs.

The Iowa City Senior Center’s SHIIP counselors can help you review your options and make changes to your coverage, if needed. Appointments are available in Iowa City, North Liberty, and virtually via Zoom.

If you’d like to meet with a SHIIP counselor to review plan options during the Medicare Open Enrollment Period, you can make an appointment online at www.icgov.org/shiip or by calling the Senior Center at 319-356-5220.
