Library Director Recognized for Distinguished Leadership

North Liberty Library Director Jennie Garner was honored with the Iowa Library Association’s 2024 Distinguished Leadership Award, awarded at their ILA annual conference in Des Moines. The yearly award recognizes an ILA member with outstanding accomplishments in leadership.

Garner was noted as an “invaluable mentor and leader for librarians across the state of Iowa and throughout the nation” committed to professional development and a willingness to share her expertise.
