The Library and City Hall will be closed for Presidents Day on Monday, February 17. The Library will also be closed Thursday, February 20 for a staff training day.

North Liberty Library – Meeting Room CD 

What’s a better winter activity than breaking out some jigsaw puzzles and chatting with friends! We’ll have smaller puzzles with up to 300 pieces to work on alone or with a friend, coffee, and snacks! 

Join us each week for a social gathering full of activities and friendly conversation – board games, crafts, puzzles, book discussions, and more! No registration required. You can choose which events you would like to attend and are not obligated to go weeks when the activity is not of interest to you.

This week we’ll be having pizza from Marco’s for lunch. After lunch we’ll play a few rounds of bingo, which is free to play for the chance to win small prizes! 

Registration for lunch is $5 and required for all who attend lunch. Participants must register before noon on Thursday, February 13th Call the Rec Center to register (319)626-5716 or go online to your RecDesk Account and register yourself.

Pick your recipe, make it, and bring it to the library to share! You can choose any recipe from Baking Yesteryear: The Best Recipes from the 1900s to the 1980s, written by TikTok sensation, B. Dylan Hollis, to make and share at our meet up on March 1st. Registration is now open. To register, either come to the library to browse the whole book and register in person, or select a recipe on our sign up here and register online that way. On March 1st we’ll all share what we made, talk about the recipes, and one lucky participant will walk away with a free copy of Baking Yesteryear: The Best Recipes from the 1900s to the 1980s. 

50+ Singles Group

Midtown Family Restaurant (West) 

Gather Thursday mornings and one weekend evening each month with other singles ages 50+.They meet to eat, laugh, talk, and make new friends. No dues, no commitment, no agenda, no RSVP (except for dinner). Separate checks. Weekly breakfasts meet at Midtown Family Restaurant 2 (1069 Highway 1 W, IC).
