Join us each week for a social gathering full of activities and friendly conversation – board games, crafts, puzzles, book discussions, and more! No registration required. You can choose which events you would like to attend and are not obligated to go weeks when the activity is not of interest to you.

We’re at the third Friday in May already which means it’s tme for Marco’s Pizza and BINGO! As always, Bingo is free to play with the chance to win small prizes.
Registration for lunch is $5 and required for all who attend lunch. Participants must register before noon on Thursday, May 15th. Call the Rec Center to register (319)626-5716 or go online to your RecDesk Account and register yourself.
55+ Connections: Friday Meal Raffles
Thanks to a generous donor, we have 100 free meals to give away to participants of the 55+ Connections Friday Lunch! We have decided to hold raffles every week for the rest of 2025 to distribute these meals. Three names will be drawn weekly and the three winners will have the cost of lunch that day refunded to them. Anyone who is registered for lunch can participate, but you can’t win twice in one month. Our May 16th winners are: Phyllis C., Helen S., and Jeanne L. Congrats!

JOI Car Wash Fundraiser

Help support the Junior Optimists International (or JOI) with their annual fundraiser. This year they are partnering with Speedy Mike’s Car Wash to sell car wash tickets. 50% of proceeds go to JOI to help support the youth of North Liberty! You can order your digital carwash coupons here.
North Liberty Summer Lunch & Fun Program Looking for Volunteers
Summer Lunch & Fun is a North Liberty program that makes sure anyone aged 0-18 can get a free meal when school is out. Monday through Friday, June 16 through August 15, a free lunch is available to kids, no questions asked!
To make this program work, it takes over 300 volunteers throughout the course of the summer. You can learn more details or sign up to volunteer to help serve food or assist with activities by clicking here.
