Kick Off Summer Reading with a Splash & a Scoop!

Level up your summer and register for the North Liberty Library’s Summer Reading Program on the Ranshaw House lawn.

The five Ws

  • Who: You! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • What:  Water run, bouncy houses and more.
  • Where: Ranshaw House lawn, 515 Community Drive.
  • When: Wednesday, June 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Why: To get excited for summer and register for the Summer Reading Program!

Programming

  • Join us for fun water-related activities for all ages, an inflatable obstacle course, and a bounce house — come prepared to get wet!
  • Enjoy a scoop of vanilla, chocolate, monster mash, or sorbet courtesy of Heyn’s Ice Cream
  • Learn about the library’s Summer Reading Program. This summer’s theme is Level Up at Your Library
  • Hills Bank, Collins Community Credit Union, University of Iowa Health Care and Corda Credit Union will also be onsite with activities.

How to get there

  • The Ranshaw House is located to the north of the Community Center at 515 Community Drive.
  • Parking is available in the Community Center parking lot.
  • Skip the car and bike (or walk) to the event!

  • Restrooms will be available in the Community Center.
  • Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them.
  • The use of tobacco, nicotine, vape and other electronic smoking devices are prohibited in North Liberty parks, trails and public recreation areas.
  • This event is outside.
