Trail Closure: Iowa River Corridor Trail at North Liberty Road and Dubuque Street

Starting Wednesday, May 28, 2025, a segment of the Iowa River Corridor Trail, often referred to as the Dubuque Street Trail, at North Liberty Road and Dubuque Street will be closed.

The closure is necessary to build a pedestrian connection and refuge island south to the Liberty Commons development. The closure is expected to last about a week. There will not be a signed detour.

Pedestrians, cyclists and others are asked to use caution around the work site, allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible.
