Bike Tuneup and Wash Clinic this Saturday

North Liberty Youth Council, the Bike Library and Sugar Bottom Bikes are teaming up to host a free bike tune-up and washing clinic on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the Old Town Plaza, 405 N. Front St.

Stop by on your Saturday morning ride to receive an ABC tuneup to kick off the cycling season. No need to dust off the bike — we’ll wash it for you! Volunteers and staff from the Bike Library and Sugar Bottom Bikes will be there to assist and answer questions. This clinic is open to cyclists of all ages, regardless of where you reside or ride. There is no cost to attend the clinic.

NLYC, established in 2022, is made up of nine students from area high schools, including Liberty, CCA, and Regina. NLYC members work to advocate for other young people in the community by engaging in service projects and hosting events.
