Ramp Closure: Interstate 380 Northbound Ramp at Penn Street

The Iowa Department of Transportation announced that beginning Tuesday, June 10, the Penn Street to Interstate-380 northbound ramp is anticipated to close for up to three months to allow for reconstruction. During the closure, northbound ramp traffic will be detoured south on Interstate 380 to the Forevergreen Road exit and back northbound.

The Iowa Department of Transportation, who is responsible for the work, is providing resources to help the public navigate during this project:

• A website for the I-380 corridor reconstruction

Drivers should use caution around the work site, expect delays and allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible.
